WELCOME to my virtual and yet very real world! I love this medium of communication. I’ve made so many friends and rekindled quite a few more over the past couple of years via the www.
My plans are to utilize this venue as a means of communicating with, and deepening already existing friendships. Who knows, I might even make a few more friends along the way! I participate in a couple of different blogs, however, I thought this would be a more effective way of expressing personal interests and things that are important to me. I intend to do that in variety of ways.
I don’t expect that everyone who reads or interacts with me here, will be in 100% agreement with everything I share. That’s just the nature of the beast. Could be that I just end up talking to myself most of the time! That’s okay too. Processing, and then writing down one’s thoughts can be very challenging. Yet, at the same time can be very rewarding as it helps to sift and distill those random and sometimes hard to codify thoughts and impressions.
I am a Christian. I love the Lord Jesus Christ and His Church. Thus, much of the discussion on this blog will be related to that end.
I am a Building Contractor. I live in the most beautiful place on earth, the Pacific Northwest! The State of Oregon is my residence. I am married, almost 30 years! We have 5 Children, 3 boys and 2 girls. Ages range from 13 all the way to 27.
Lord bless, and happy blogging!
Scott
Nice job, Scotty! Good exhortation. I’ll try to check in now and then. Is that your daughter in the photo with you (wink)? J.
Hey Jeff! Good to see ya! I tried to call you a couple of weeks ago to chat. Your answering machine told me that you weren’t home and that you’d get right back to me. You need to have a talk with that machine
Buenos Dias, radios escuchas!
Hi from the rolling hills of Germany! I like your blog, and enjoyed the music clips as well. One guitar piece you may enjoy is, “Respect the Wind” by Van Halen. It is instrumental, and heard at the closing credits of the movie “Twister”.
I just bought a car last week; a Chevy Matiz. A dinky little thing, but runs on Autogas (propane), which costs half as much as gasoline, which is over nine dollars a gallon here! I´m still a Jesus Freak, and am always glad when I can let my light shine. You´re right; the Call is never more important than the One who calls!
Keep up the good work,
Tschüß,
Kip
Hermano Kip! What a pleasant surprise! You know, I called one of my sub-contractors the other day and used that very expression, “Buenos dias, radios eschuchas!” That’s funny that you mentioned that.
Yeppers, this is my first crack at a blog. I will be adding more content as time goes along.
Don’t be a stranger, and feel free to drop in once and a while with a nugget or two.
Blessings on you and yours!
