Pastor Bill is presently going through a prolonged, yet highly medically advanced treatment of prostate cancer in Florida.
For those of you who are not familiar with Bill, he is the Pastor of Crossroads Community Church in Vancouver, WA. Crossroads is a fairly large church that has enjoyed many years of fruitful expansion and blessing. I guess you can term the church a ‘mega-church’.
Through providence, I had a chance to meet Bill a couple of years ago. I’ve since visited the church on several occasions while traveling through Vancouver to & from Seattle, WA. I can say that the fellowship doesn’t feel anything like what I had previously thought of (prejudicially I might add) what mega-churches are. Bill’s emphasis on the teaching of the Word of God is very straight forward, challenging and edifying as well.
Bill has become a good friend to me. Unlike the reputation that many Leaders have of being isolated and firewalled from the ‘common’ people, he has embraced me as friend and has been a real source of encouragement to me over this past couple of years.
I would like to ask you all to pray for him during this trial in his life. Although I know he has the best of care being provided to him, it still must be difficult for him to be away from home, his church and all those he loves.
Bill, I love you brother, and I’m praying for you!

Thanks Scott. Yes, Bill is a one-of-a-kind gem, and I’m praying for him.
Scott–thanks for the report on our brother-in-Christ–Peggy and I will be praying for Bill and his family–we also continue to pray for you and Laura and for your entire family–In the Precious Love of Jesus, Dick and Peggy Brown, Ojai, CA
My wife and I have listened to his Brand New radio program for probably 8 years now and he is just about the best, and most enjoyable, Bible teacher around. We have friends in the Crossroads ministry, and through them have met him and his wife Betty. She has taught children’s Sunday school almost his entire career. They are indeed wonderful people and we prey the Lord will leave them here with us a good many years.
